The promotional period of the MTR Points Reward Scheme is from 1 November 2024 until 30 April 2025. Upon successful registration of MTR Mobile account, you can earn points from taking MTR ride with linked Octopus, registration of your receipts of purchases from designated MTR Malls or MTR Shops in stations, purchasing at MTR e-Store and Airport Express tickets and Tourist Tickets after logged into MTR Mobile.

Any unredeemed "MTR Points" will be forfeited and deleted by 3 May 2025 (Points Redemption Period). You may also check the latest promotional offers through MTR Mobile.

You can link up your Octopus based on the below steps. On the same day, you can use the Octopus to take the MTR, Airport Express, Light Rail or MTR Bus (excluding High Speed Rail). The paid fare will automatically acquire MTR points.

You can link your account with a frequently used Octopus without purchasing another one. Each Octopus can only be linked to one account to earn points. If the linked Octopus is used to link to another new account, the old account cannot continue to be used to earn MTR points with that Octopus.

If you need to change the previously linked Octopus, you need to go to a Digital Service Kiosk in designated MTR stations or link the Octopus through the Octopus App. Steps as follow:

If you are an MTR Mobile member and have linked your account to a dedicated e-payment source, you can earn MTR Points for every ride using the QR code on MTR Mobile. No MTR Points will be granted to rides taken with QR Code Ticket directly through third party electronic payment portal.

MTR Mobile members can purchase the Monthly Pass and add it to the linked Octopus through the following channels to earn points:

You may still earn MTR points on a pro rata basis, but you must link your Octopus to your MTR Mobile account before the second last day of the month. Refer to the following examples:

Any City Saver purchased within the promotion period can be registered to earn points. Each account may register up to a maximum of seven tickets, and each Saver can only earn points once.

MTR Mobile members can earn points by purchasing e-Single Journey Tickets, Airport Express tickets and Tourist Day Pass via MTR Mobile after logging in. Members may select "My Ticket" on homepage > "Ticket Purchase", then select the Ticket Type you need and follow the instructions, points will be earned upon purchase successfully.

The MTR Points Reward Scheme is only applicable to MTR Mobile members. Therefore, MTR Mobile members must purchase tickets after logging in to MTR Mobile to earn points.

You can choose to use the Self-earn function on MTR Mobile to earn "MTR Points" by registering eligible purchases within 30 days of purchase or within the promotion period (whichever is earlier). The steps are simply as follows:

The reasons for rejected registration may be due to the following reasons:

• The uploaded picture is not clear.
• The receipt has been uploaded before.
• Cash payment receipts are not eligible.
• The receipt has expired (i.e. over 30 days from the date of issue of the receipt).
• The purchase has failed to meet relevant spending requirements, such as payment using stored value cards, coupons or cash coupons, or purchases of stored-value cards, coupons or cash coupons, etc.

The amount on cash coupons cannot accumulate MTR Points. After deducting the face value of the cash coupon, the net electronic payment must meet the related spending requirements in order to be entitled to MTR Points, and points are calculated based on the net payment amount.

MTR Points Reward Scheme is only applicable to MTR Mobile members. Therefore, members must log in to MTR Mobile before completing payment at MTR e-Store to earn points.
