To make your trips more convenient during the festive season, we have added extra train trips and adjusted service hours as follows:

Christmas Eve (24 December)

·       All local lines and 7 Light Rail routes will operate overnight (except for Airport Express, Disneyland Resort Line and journeys to or from Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations on the East Rail Line)

·       Service hours will be extended on 3 bus routes (506, K51 and K54)

New Year's Eve (31 December) ​

·       All local lines and 7 Light Rail routes will operate overnight (except for Airport Express, Disneyland Resort Line and journeys to or from Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations on the East Rail Line)

·       Disneyland Resort Line service hours will be extended

·       Service hours will be extended on 3 bus routes (506, K51 and K54)

There will be a total of 2,200 extra train trips between 20 December and 1 January. The Island Line and South Island Line will operate at an increased frequency of approximately 3-4 minutes most of the time during the weekends and holidays. The Airport Express will provide addition early and late train trips as follows: 

·       25 December and 1 January: the first train will depart from Hong Kong Station at 5:30am

·       29 December and 1 January: the last train will depart from AsiaWorld-Expo Station at 1:00am the next day
