Monitoring

It is necessary to monitor the stress/strain, vibration, deformation and movement induced in railway tunnels, viaducts, structures and installations so as to ensure that the safety and stability of the operating railway will not be affected by the adjacent construction activities. Monitoring works are conducted through the use of various surveying methods with the aid of geotechnical instruments, if necessary.
