Project Description

The Corporation installs noise barriers and enclosures along the rail lines to reduce noise impact generated by running trains.

The following noise barrier and enclosure projects are completed or underway

  • Trackside Noise Barrier Construction Works at Tung Chung Line (Completed in 2016)
  • Noise Enclosure Installation Works at Ho Tung Lau Depot (Completed in 2021)
  • Noise Mitigation Construction Works at Viaduct near Yuen Long Station (Under construction)
