MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the provision of the maintenance services to the existing Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) equipment and Access Control System (ACS) installed at stations along the Airport Express Line (AEL), Tung Chung Line (TCL), Disneyland Resort Line (DRL), West Rail Line (WRL), Tseung Kwan O Line (TKL) and Light Rail (LRL). The maintenance services contract will be divided into two packages as follows:
Package I - Provision of maintenance services for AFC and ACS Systems in AEL, TCL and DRL.
Package II - Provision of maintenance services for AFC System in WRL, TKL and LRL.
The scope of the services shall cover the comprehensive corrective and preventive maintenance, investigation for failures and repeated faults, regular system audit, provision of workshop repair, system incident reports and asset condition reports for the AFC and ACS comprising add value machine, ticket issuing machine, gate, platform ticket processor, office contactless smart card processor, station computer, card checker, door controller, access reader, station control computer and other related auxiliary devices.
The prequalification process for the tender will be started in April 2021 and tenders will be invited in June 2021.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 15 April 2021 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Following expression of interest, applicants will receive an invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. Applicants shall complete and submit all the information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00 p.m. (Hong Kong Time) on 23 April 2021.
