Ling Tsz-hin’s physical disabilities have never been a limit on his passion for photography. The 21-year-old has been capturing snapshots of life since he was young and his work reflects the hope, freedom and beauty that he sees. Fifteen astonishing pictures taken by the young man with muscular dystrophy are on display at the “Life and Hope – Ling Tsz Hin Photo Exhibition”, between 3 January 2020 and 1 April 2020 at MTR Sheung Wan and Sai Wan Ho stations under the “Art in MTR” programme.
“The exhibition encompasses four themes – Hope, Life, Freedom and Passersby. I think the most important thing in life is hope. With hope, there will be a direction for your life; with freedom, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and realise what you hope for. And during the process, we will meet passersby who light up our lives while we also play a role in others’ lives as a passerby. Life is short, and I hope to shine during the limited time that I have,” said Mr Ling.
“MTR carries passengers from all walks of life and we share the passion that Mr Ling shows for hope, freedom and the love for life through this photography. We look forward to providing a platform for young artists to share what they see, what they feel and what they think through their creativity. It will not only further connect MTR with the community, but also enhance the travelling experience for our customers,” said Ms Linda So, Corporate Affairs Director of the MTR Corporation.
