Hong Kong athletes’ extraordinary performances at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games with a cumulative total of 11 medals, including 1 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals, wrote a new chapter in Hong Kong sports development.
The industrious athletes’ determination to pursue their Olympic and Paralympic dreams, the mutual and heartfelt support of teammates, the patient guidance and motivation of coaches, backup teams standing by around the clock and the whole city’s support all contributed to this honourable success. MTR Corporation is proud to present this photo exhibition, entitled "Shining at the Tokyo Games", for the community to revisit the moments of sweat and tears in which the athletes made their utmost efforts to strive for success, no matter whether winning or losing, happy or disappointed. This is our tribute to Hong Kong athletes for their remarkable achievements.
MTR is grateful to the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled for capturing the athletes’ shining journeys and sharing every touching and historical moment from the Tokyo Games with the community.
