Tuen Mun Park Reptile House


  • In the turfed area in the southern part of Tuen Mun Park, the Reptile House features indoor terraria and a courtyard terrarium where various live reptiles such as Carpet Python, Spurred Tortoise and Chinese Water Dragon, and reptile models are displayed.

    Getting there: a 10-minute walk from the Tuen Mun Station Exit B

T·PARK


  • Although the main objective of T·PARK is to convert waste to energy, this state-of-the-art environmental education centre offers picturesque views and indoor spa pools that are heated by the energy from the sludge treatment process. While entry is free, advance booking is required. Visitors can book guided tours and spa sessions online.

    Getting there: Tuen Mun Station Exit D, walk to the Tuen Mun Station Public Transport Interchange to get on the shuttle bus and alight at the park

Tuen Mun San Tsuen


  • Tuen Mun San Tsuen has colourful murals of vibrant anime characters alongside an iconic sunflower pattern that was created by a famous Japanese artist, making it a popular photo spot.

    Getting there: Siu Hong Station Exit D, then take the Light Rail Route 610/614/615/751 with free interchange and get off at the Lam Tei Stop

Ping Shan Heritage Trail

  • The Ping Shan Heritage Trail introduces you to the lives of Hong Kong’s 13th century clan settlers, with old villages and ancestral halls.

    Getting there: a 3-minute walk from Tin Shui Wai Station Exit E3

H2OPE Centre


  • Located at Tin Shui Wai, the H2OPE Centre (H2O Public Education Centre) is a 2-storey venue run by the Water Supplies Department. With 12 exhibition halls of fun and educational games, it is a perfect spot to learn about water – and it’s free of charge! Don't forget to register beforehand.

Yuen Long Park


  • Yuen Long Park consists of a lake, a waterfall and a pretty ravine. Perched at the top centre of the park is the brick-red Aviary Pagoda, so named because its first floor has been converted into an aviary with shrubs and plants attracting birds. It’s worth climbing to the pagoda’s upper floors for sensational views of Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai and beyond.

Hong Kong Wetland Park


  • The Hong Kong Wetland Park is a world-class ecotourism facility aimed at promoting green tourism, and education about environmental protection and wetland conservation. The park includes a 10,000 sqm visitor’s centre – Wetland Interactive World – and a 60-hectare Wetland Reserve.

    Getting there: Tin Shui Wai Station Exit E1, then take the Light Rail Route 705/706 with free interchange and get off at the Wetland Park Stop

Lung Mun Oasis

  • Lung Mun Oasis is well-known for its late-night street food that offers signature cuisines from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, featuring fried pork intestines, fried oyster pancakes, skewers and desserts.

    Getting there: Tuen Mun Station Exit B, then take the MTR Bus 506/K52 with free interchange and get off at the Glorious Garden Stop

Man Fong Café


  • Man Fong Café specialises in classic Cha Chaan Teng dishes and it is decorated in a bing sutt theme, including murals of classic Hollywood movies.
