Riding on the popularity of the MTR-themed rooms at Regal Riverside Hotel, MTR and Regal Hotels International are collaborating on a new “Railcation” experience – a K T Chai- and art-themed accommodation and dining packages at the brand new Hotel – Regala Skycity Hotel. The packages will be available on MTR e-Store on 1 March 2023 and guests can begin their stay from 1 April 2023.
MTR endeavours to fill passengers’ journeys with art, which is why MTR stations including platforms and concourses showcase a collection of artworks. To let customers enjoy art even during their “Railcation”, the new hotel package will incorporate artistic elements from MTR stations related to nature, from the ocean to mountains and the ecological environment. Guests can also immerse themselves in art through a variety of participatory activities, such as a ceramic workshop. Other experiences include a K T Chai-themed interactive game room and MTR- and ecology-themed workshops.
In addition to art, a highlight of the “Railcation” experience is K T Chai, the ambassador of Airport Express. He will be waiting to greet and take photos with guests not only in the themed rooms but also throughout Regala Skycity Hotel, which is conveniently located next to AsiaWorld-Expo Station.
Situated on tranquil Lantau Island, Regala Skycity Hotel is away from the hubbub of city life. The “Railcation” package will offer guests a relaxing retreat and an invaluable opportunity to explore Lantau Island in depth.
The packages will be available from 1 March 2023 on MTR Mobile and MTR e-Store.
