As a "pandastic" craze sweeps across Hong Kong, the MTR is honoured to partner with the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, Hong Kong Tourism Board and Ocean Park Hong Kong to promote the giant panda campaign since last December, bringing their presence everywhere. To celebrate the official debut of Hong Kong's twin panda cubs, the MTR is launching cute and charming decorations featuring the twin cubs to more stations, sharing the joy and cuteness of the giant pandas with passengers and travelers!

Giant Pandas @MTR Stations

MTR mascot "T Chai" will crossover with giant pandas, donning a brand-new panda costume to make a vibrant appearance on decorations in the station, while Captain Go has also made a special appearance alongside the lovable pandas dressed as Captain Go, taking passengers from across the globe along on a fun-filled train ride.

Ocean Park Station

The South Island Line's Ocean Park Station is revamped into a giant panda-themed station. Adorned with panda decorations, the station is bringing Hong Kong's six adorable pandas – Ying Ying, Le Le, An An, Ke Ke and the twin babies "Elder Sister" and "Little Brother" to each and every corner of the station – from the Customer Service Centre, the concourse and platform, to the stairs and walls, and more.

Hong Kong West Kowloon Station – Level B1 (near the Ticketing Concourse)

Hong Kong West Kowloon Station has been transformed with charming panda-themed decorations to welcome visitors to Hong Kong. Captain Go has also made a special appearance alongside the lovable pandas dressed as Captain Go for the first time! Come to take photos with them!

Giant Panda Themed Trains

Three Giant Panda-themed trains will operate on the South Island Line, Airport Express, and High Speed Rail at specified times. While taking the MTR, passengers can immerse themselves in a "pandastic" experience with the giant pandas. The train schedule is now available and listed below. Don’t miss the chance to board the train. Please ensure your safety and be considerate when capturing joyful moments!

South Island Line

Two Giant Panda-themed South Island Line trains will run from Admiralty Station to South Horizons Station. The train cabins will be filled with the presence of giant pandas, which will be taking an MTR ride together with passengers, as well as greeting passengers at the train door.

Airport Express

Giant Panda-themed Airport Express train will run from Hong Kong Station to AsiaWorld-Expo Station. If passenger wants to catch the themed train, you may consider visiting Hong Kong Station at the following time from Tuesday to Sunday.

High Speed Rail

Starting 11 January, High Speed Rail panda-themed train runs between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, Guangzhounan station, Shenzhenbei station and Futian station on designated route. Click here for more details.

Giant Panda Photo Spots @MTR Stations

Panda Family Appears on Electronic Screens @MTR Stations

Six lovable giant pandas are displayed on electronic screens across MTR stations, taking on a new role as Hong Kong's tourism ambassadors to showcase the authentic Hong Kong experiences.

Cute and Charming Decorations of Twin Cubs @Airport Express

"Elder Sister" and "Little Brother" will soon become adorable ambassadors at Airport Express stations, including Hong Kong, Kowloon, Tsing Yi, and Airport stations. Decorative stickers featuring the panda cubs will be placed on various locations, such as entry/exit gates, glass panels and walls, creating fun photo opportunities for passengers and travelers.

Photo Spots @10 MTR Stations

Photo spots will be set up in 10 MTR stations, with a uniquely styled giant panda representing key features of the local neighbourhood in each station, including Admiralty, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Central, Hong Kong, Ocean Park, Tung Chung, Sham Shui Po, Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui.

Admiralty Station - Giant Panda Decorations and 3D Animation Pillar (Ended)

Six lovable giant pandas will also make their way into Admiralty Station, greeting passengers at the platform; LED pillars in the area will also be playing adorable 3D animations featuring giant pandas greeting passengers by waving their arms.

Hong Kong Station - Giant LED Screen Live Broadcast (Ended)

The giant LED screen at Hong Kong Station will broadcast the daily life of pandas An An and Ke Ke at Ocean Park at specific times during weekdays, sharing their cute moments with passengers.
