Hong Kong’s railway network reached a new milestone when Tuen Ma Line – now the city’s longest railway line – began full service on 27 June 2021.
To commemorate this historical moment, we are pleased to launch the “Mini City” model sets. Each of the 4 sets in the collection includes a mini electronic train and miniatures of landmarks from around the 4 stations along Tuen Ma Line to take collectors on a special journey through the city. Each set also comes with an MTR Points Card1, a new concept to collect MTR Points. The cards are printed with artworks from the corresponding stations – “Sunshine on our quilt” at Hin Keng Station, “Horizon in time” at Kai Tak Station, “Earth Song” at Sung Wong Toi Station, and “Home” at To Kwa Wan Station, infusing art into everyday life while highlighting the uniqueness of the various neighbourhoods. Each MTR Points Card can be used to redeem 2000 MTR Points via MTR Mobile.
