Blue House


  • Wan Chai’s “Blue House” is one of Hong Kong’s few Grade I historic buildings that has been revitalised. Its blue exterior and the old Chinese medicine clinic plaques have made the Blue House a hot spot for photo taking.

Choi Hung Estate


  • Choi Hung Estate, with a history of over 60 years, is one of the oldest public housing estates in Hong Kong. With its colourful exterior walls and basketball court, it has become a popular photo spot for both tourists and locals. Inside the estate, there are several shops that have been operating for over half a century, giving the place a strong human touch.

13 Streets, To Kwa Wan


  • The 13 Streets consist of 13 individual streets, of which 11 streets are named after auspicious creatures such as dragons, phoenixes, deer and qilin. The colourful rows of tong lau come together to create a unique landscape in this historic district of Hong Kong.

    Getting there: an 11-minute walk from To Kwa Wan Station Exit A

Cheung Ling Mansion


  • After the renovation of the exterior of Cheung Ling Mansion, the dull greenish-grey facade has been transformed into a large mural depicting an urban forest landscape, which is very instagrammable!

    Getting there: a 2-minute walk from Prince Edward Station Exit B2

Hong Kong Park

  • The children's playground inside Hong Kong Park features a multi-coloured wall design, with different facilities on each level. The park also has an aviary, an artificial lake, and gardens, making it a great place to stroll around and relax.

    Getting there: a 14-minute walk from Admiralty Station Exit C1 or Central Station Exit J2

ArtLane

  • Among the top photo spots in the Western District, the murals at ArtLane are must-sees. This cultural hotspot showcases 26 large-scale murals created by local and international artists, each featuring a distinct theme and artistic style.

    Getting there: a 1-minute walk from Sai Ying Pun Station Exit B3

Caine Lane Garden

  • The contrasting red and white colors of Caine Lane Garden give the buildings a playful, castle-like appearance, reminiscent of the structures we used to build with toy blocks as kids. Adding to the whimsical ambiance are the public toilets, which mimic the distinctive shape of a Rubik's Cube.

    Getting there: an 11-minute walk from Sheung Wan Station Exit A

Graham Street

  • The colourful mural of old townhouses shines a light on the city’s iconic tong lau tenement buildings.

    Getting there: an 8-minute walk from Sheung Wan Station Exit A2 or a 9-minute walk from Central Station Exit D2

Hoi On Road

  • Constructed with vibrant orange columns that look alike the Senbon Torii in Japan, the tunnel on Hoi On Road is connected to the waterfront, which draws many people to take pictures of it. When taking photos here, please stay alert to the road condition.

    Getting there: a 15-minute walk from Tsuen Wan West Station Exit B

Tuen Mun San Tsuen

  • Tuen Mun San Tsuen has colourful murals of vibrant anime characters alongside an iconic sunflower pattern that was created by a famous Japanese artist, making it a popular photo spot.

    Getting there: Siu Hong Station Exit D, then take the Light Rail Route 610/614/615/751 with free interchange and get off at the Lam Tei Stop
