MTR · CARE APP – Account Cancellation

With the latest version of "MTR · Care" mobile app, you can log into the app and follow these simple steps to cancel your account:

  1. Open the "MTR · Care" mobile app
  2. Tap on “Settings” > “Account Cancellation”
  3. Read the “Account Cancellation Arrangement”
  4. Tap on “Understand and agree to the above -mentioned arrangement”
  5. Tap “Confirm”
  6. Enter the 6-digit verification code received via SMS and tap “Confirm”
  7. Account cancellation is successful

 

According to "MTR · Care" mobile app’s personal information retention policy, we will retain your personal information for one month after your account is cancelled, for handling the inquiries related to the cancelled account. After the Data Retention Period, passenger’s personal information will be permanently deleted.

 

 

If necessary, customers can also call the MTR hotline at 2881 8888 to seek staff assistance for arranging the cancellation of their accounts.
