The fare of "China T-Union Card" issued in other cities is equivalent to an Adult Octopus. The fare will be settled in Hong Kong dollar (HKD) at a real-time exchange rate against Renminbi (RMB)#. When exiting the gate, the screen of the gate will only display the fare deducted for the trip in HKD.

Generally, fare discounts provided in other cities, all fare concessions by MTR and the Government’s Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme are not applicable. In addition, "China T-Union Card" cannot be used to pay for First Class travel on the East Rail Line. Click here to learn more about travelling the First Class.
