MTR Gallery at Kowloon Station on the Airport Express offers visitors of all ages a fun journey to explore the multi-faceted world of MTR! Visitors can learn more about the past and present of MTR and the development of Hong Kong’s railway via this “Time Tunnel”.
At the entrance, the MTR Ticket Kaleidoscope, the iconic ticket mosaic wall, welcomes visitors with over 8,000 eye-catching tickets. Next to it, there is a newly designed gigantic thematic wall titled “T Chai’s Hong Kong Adventure” infused with classic MTR elements where visitors can join our adorable T Chai to explore the delicious local food and tour around the famous attractions in Hong Kong.
Going inside, visitors can step into a life-size 1:1 Train Car Mock-Up which shows the parts of a train compartment from different generations. Railway fans can also appreciate a diverse range of Models of MTR Trains and Railway Engineering Vehicles that are operating or have already retired after years of service in the city. Families and kids can witness the evolution of MTR’s ticket history through the Tickets Memory Lane, and indulge in the “As Fast As MTR” Interactive Game to challenge their knowledge of MTR stations and routes.
