Tap 'Ticket Purchase' on the page of Transport Select the Monthly Pass you need Tap 'Pay with Octopus App' You will be redirected to Octopus App to select a payment method Scan the Octopus to continue. If you choose Smart Octopus, Apple Pay user can confirm payment or Android user can authorise transaction using your selected authentication method Transaction is completed and purchase record will be displayed Friendly reminder: Tap 'Transport Passes' on Octopus App Homepage and select 'Purchase Monthly Pass'. Select 'MTR' and follow the steps to purchase Monthly Pass.

You may now purchase any types of Monthly Pass via Octopus App, saving your time from queuing up at MTR stations.

Select the Monthly Pass you need

Tap "Pay with Octopus App"

You will be redirected to Octopus App to select a payment method

  • If you choose "Octopus", please place your registered Octopus at the back of your mobile phone
  • If you choose to pay with "Octopus Wallet", tap the registered Octopus at the back of your mobile phone
  • If you choose "Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch", please confirm the payment directly while Android users can authorise transaction using your selected authentication method

Transaction is completed and purchase record will be displayed. The Monthly Pass will be added to your Octopus
